Draegon's the name, though I'm also known as Captain, Sizzle, Drae, Dray, Arly and flamecoveredmoon across the roleplaying, gamer and arty communities

So... I have virtual strawberries and raspberries, so help yourself! And here is an ask a question token

Anyway, where did all your names originate? Like Draegon?

Draegon was a name I created from the word 'dragon' six or so years ago for the purpose of being my online roleplaying handle. Those who knew/know me as Draegon started to also call me Dray and Drae, so that's where those two come from. Flamecoveredmoon is my deviantart username, Sizzle is a new name that I've only used on one roleplaying directory site (roleplayhub), and Arly is the first part of my pen name, that a lot of my close friends also call me.

As for my real name... Maybe if you ask nicely

That's a cool set of names. I've got my own set as well:

LostLegend: Not sure how this came about. I suppose I wanted something a little bit related to my life - lost due to being deaf, when I should have been pretty skilled. Sounds arrogant, but I was about 13 when I made it. I just generally liked the name since then and it's never taken on sites where I register!
Colour: black

HotfireLegend: Life got a lot better when I was about 15, and I needed a twist on the name. It was a pretty good day in my life and I was figuratively speaking 'on fire', so I came up with this!
Colour: orange

And the occasional other name for when these two just won't do. I can't remember them all.

How did you get into roleplaying? (I'll leave the real name question to later, so there's a dramatic pause!)

I've always been creative - both in the sense of writing and art. Near the millennium, my elder sister introduced me to a wolf roleplay forum, and that was how I started. It was good - she immediately taught me all the usual no-nos not to do,and over the ten years + since I started I haven't stopped, though the sites I stay at I stay at for years usually (with the exception of one site with a power-mad admin that scared me off, and two or three that closed down because of the admin). I'm still writing my novels, still approaching agents and practising my drawing, and working 9-5, but roleplaying has become part of my daily routine now. It's great for meeting people, for writing with others, flexing your creative muscles as well as showing your ability off (both on the good and bad days). It also makes sure I do write something everyday, even if my main characters in my novels and I are butting heads (my roleplay characters rarely do that to me). It's also nice not to have to worry about how 'good' your writing is as you would something you'd like to get published traditionally.

How did you get into roleplaying?

Hmm, myself... I'm not sure how it all began to be honest, but I think it was because throughout my life, I've enjoyed writing stories of all kinds, and when I first read some roleplay in a form (it wasn't that brilliant to be honest, but it was like 4/5 years ago so...) I thought 'why don't I join in?' and so I joined. I didn't like that particular one much though, so I searched for one that I liked - I chose the subject matter of Naruto. I roleplayed on that forum for about half a year before realising it was a bit inactive, so I made my own.

Then I branched off to other sites like Sizael and Hogwarts Revolution. Since then, I've been creating my own spin-offs of some sites, changing what I wanted to change and thus creating my own worlds. I've decided just to stick with NRPG in the end in terms of roleplay though. I run/ran a couple of other little sites, but other people wanted it so I handed a few over.That allowed me to have some free time!

I still write loads, and I've got a 50-page (A4) book in writing, which I hope to have published in the future.

I've always told myself no more than two sites to own and run (staffing elsewhere - three probably maximum) Just because otherwise I'd never get away from the netbook or computer lol! I chose two because as you've probably seen on Sizael, I spend a lot of time exploring the world as the designer and as a result creating new content. Which is good, but if you're serious about writing and such, you have to make sure you have room to do non-roleplaying writing everyday. Not to mention exploring the real world so inspiration will strike if you're stuck.

Once all this house melarkey's out of the way, I intend to go on a tour of all the castles in the UK, though I'll probably skip Windsor.

... How can you tour all the castles in the UK, yet skip Windsor? XD
